Introduction

Summer School on Visuomotor Interaction

This year the Robotic Intelligence Lab of Jaume-I University, has joined efforts with the partners of the FP7 European Project EYESHOTS to organize a major event on the subject of visuomotor interaction in natural and artificial agents.

International experts coming from different disciplines such as neurophysiology, cognitive sciences, computational neurosciences and autonomous and bio-inspired robotics will meet to provide the assistants with an exhaustive overview of the different aspects related to the coordinated control of visual behaviors and purposeful limb movements.

The school will be highly interdisciplinary, due to all lecturers experience in cross-disciplinary research and international cutting-edge project involvement.

Here you can also find information about the 8 previous editions of the International UJI Robotics School:

  • Robotic & Biologically-Inspired Manipulation, 2001
  • Visual Servoing, 2002
  • Telerobotics and Online Robots, 2003
  • Mobile Manipulators, 2004
  • Robotics and neuroscience, 2005
  • Humanoid robots, 2006
  • Assistive robots, 2007
  • Rescue robotics, 2008

One of the goals of the school is to maximize interaction between all participants including time for formal lectures, practical work, relaxed discussions, social activities and leisure (have a look!).
