Received a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Colombia (Bogota, 2003) and a bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University Antonio Nariño (Bogota, 2001).
Worked as Research assistant for PHI Group during one year and a half developing engineering software, tuning and validating fuzzy logic systems and developing flash applications (Bogota, 2002-2003).
Designed and developed the Administration Information System for the company Esmeralda milk products (Bogota, 2003).
Lived one and a half years in London studing English (2004-2005).
Received a master degree in Autonomous Systems from the FH-Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, Bonn (Germany), 2008. Thesis: A software integration framework and architecture for robot learning by experimentation. Supervisors: Paul Plöguer and Karl Sylla. Awarded with the Förderpreis 2008 of the Fachhochschule Bonn Rhein Sieg.
Currently developing a simulator at the Universitat Jaume I under the supervision of Prof. Antonio Morales for the european project GRASP: Emergence of Cognitive Grasping through Introspection, Emulation and Surprise under the seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
