Javier Felip holds a B.S. in Computer Science at Universitat Jaume I (October 2007) and a degree in "Technical Engineering in Computer Systems" also at Universitat Jaume I (June 2004).
Nowadays is a PhD. Student at the Robotic Intelligence Lab. He is also finishing a Master degree in Intelligent Systems at the UJI. Furthermore he is working as researcher for the FP7-GRASP project.
He has won two times the Spanish humanoid competiton CEABOT.
Javier was working with the UJI vision group in depth estimation with stereo-foveated images for six months(11-06/05-07). In June 2007, he started to work in the UJI Robotic Intelligence Lab.
Nowadays he is working as researcher for GRASP: Emergence of Cognitive Grasping through Emulation, Introspection and Surprise.
His research interests are: Humanoid robotics, robotic grasping and robotic grasping based in neuroscience.
